VIÑA OLABARRI was founded by Pablo Olabarri Bikandi, who since 1958 spent long periods in Haro; His great love for wines led him to acquire in 1985 a century-old winery from the 19th century on Las Bodegas de Anguciana street.
The need for modern and extensive facilities for winemaking led to the construction of new facilities in Haro in 1989, with sufficient capacity to house 4,000 barrels and a warehouse for aging 800,000 bottles.
Currently, it is his son Luis Olabarri who runs the winery.
